Professor Jaime is has dedicated his life to teaching students about the Jiu Jitsu lifestyle. Professor Jaime teaches all classes at Gracie Barra Lake Charles and trains with every single student.

He was first introduced to Jiu Jitsu in 2001 in Tucson, Arizona. After living and training in Oklahoma and Louisiana, Jaime his family moved to Friendswood, TX. This is where Jaime was first introduced to his current, Professor, mentor and friend, Vinicius “Draculino” Magalhaes. In the years living in Texas Jaime was so influenced by Professor Draculino’s insight, charisma, devotion and dedication to Jiu Jitsu he knew it would be something he would eventually make his life´s work. Under Draculino’s teaching Jaime was exposed to such influential Jiu Jitsu ideology this further reassured him that Jiu Jitsu was a life enhancing sport that he would continue for the rest of his life and wanted to share with others Jaime works hard every day striving to improve his teaching skills and his student’s knowledge by staying up to date with all Gracie Barra and IBJJF Instructor Certifications and Conferences. He also is continuously improving his own knowledge, skill and training by training with his students every day.

Jaime takes pride in spreading the knowledge of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to anyone interested, hoping it will bring them as much happiness and fulfillment in their life as it has for him.
